Mortgage brokers often struggle with limited time, compliance pressures, and lack of marketing expertise. Marketing Genius was designed to solve this by providing a fast, intuitive, and compliance aware tool that generates marketing content in seconds. The goal was to help brokers market smarter, save time, and maintain their own voice while staying compliant.

  4. Personalisation features (broker name, details, tone of voice)
  5. Final UI designs integrated into the design system

Challenges

1. Compliance complexity

Early compliance flags felt harsh and discouraged users.

2. Time pressure

Brokers needed content in under 60 seconds, requiring streamlined flows.

3. Voice and control

Users wanted AI support but insisted on keeping their own tone.

4. Adoption barrier

Many brokers deprioritised marketing, so the tool had to feel effortless.

Ideation

  • Journey mapping to identify broker pain points
  • Wireframing multiple flow variations
  • Co‑creation workshops with brokers and compliance teams

  • Round 1: Compliance flags confusing, changed to softer prompt
  • Round 2: Added 1-click copy for LinkedIn
  • Round 3: Personalisation added (broker name & details)
